The Fayette County High School Hall of Fame was established to honor and
preserve the achievements of Fayette County High School alumni on the
playing fields of athletics as well as the playing fields of life.  The
individuals enshrined in this Hall exemplify what it means to be a Fayette
County High School Tiger.

The purpose of the Fayette County Hall of Fame is to:

  • To recognize and preserve the heritage of Fayette County High School.
  • To honor those persons who through distinguished achievement have excelled in one or more high school activity program sponsored by Fayette County High School.
  • To keep alive the history, traditions and spirit of Fayette County High School.

MARCH 6, 2010

The Fayette County High School Hall of Fame Committee has selected its induction class of 2010. The members of this year’s induction class include 6 athletes/coach and 3 distinguished alumni.

The induction ceremony will be held in the Fayette County High School cafeteria on March 6, 2010 at 6:30. Dinner will be served followed by presentations of the honorees. Tickets may be purchased at Fayette Sports or in the front office at Fayette County High School for $20.

Athletic members of the Fayette County High School Hall of Fame class of 2010 are: Craig Uhle (FCHS class of 1986), Mike Lynch (FCHS class of 1987), Steve Cole (FCHS class of 1989), Andy Thompson (FCHS class of 1996), Diana Ramage (FCHS class of 2000), and Coach Glenn Walker (1968-1993).

2010 Distinguished Alumni inductees are: Mrs. Geraldine Stinchcomb (FCHS Class of 1933), Mr. Lester Bray (attended FCHS between 1941 and 1943), and Mr. Jack Dettmering (attended FCHS from 1943 to 1946).
